Shit hit the fan while you were gone
Who: DiZ and Riku
What: Namine flew the coop along with a certain couple of obstacles to Sora's awakening
When: ... within a couple days after aforementioned what
Where: The Old Mansion, Twilight Town
[When Riku first arrives, he'll find the lab he's previously seen DiZ working in... a sort of half-disarray. There's been no sign of a fight, or anything of the sort, but there's definitely something different. DiZ's lab had always been fairly clear, him concentrating his work on the computers. Now though, there's a sort of disorganized clutter to the place, as if the occupant had torn through the written notes he'd had before tossing them carelessly aside, and neglecting to clean up once he was done.
The monitors meanwhile, should show Riku the rather alarming news, that virtually nothing has changed about Sora's status, compared to the last time Riku was there.
As for the man himself, Riku will finally find him in the room with Sora's pod itself staring at it. It's something that's begun to happen disturbingly often of late, as DiZ stares at the boy and reminds himself that once all is said and done, it will be worth the frustrations he's had to endure for this project, as this boy will be the one who will end everything. Something he's needed a reminder of now quite a bit, what with how many setbacks he's facing currently.
To Riku though, he'll merely see DiZ, hands folded behind his back, though there's a particular set to his shoulders, ramrod straight and very tense, almost ready to snap]
